A cool idea. Unused computer downtime to be rented out like Airbnb properties. Obviously there have to be safeguards. We have all heard of Airbnb places being totally trashed by users so what could happen to computers? Shudder to think.
Golem via its Golem Token Network (GNT) crowdsale will launch this Friday (11th) to decentralize a worldwide market for computing power. It’s like AN Airbnb for computers. Developed in Poland the service will certainly lower the cost of all types of apps and compulations for many. With the concept expected to be on a global scale it is only natural that rental fees and deposits will be able to be paid in bitcoin. Very exciting new concept.
