Not that we like competition, in particular, but we find it interesting that Forbes has recently hired a cryptocurrency editor, AssetTV launched a fintech channel last year, and now CNBC has announced they are launching a new weekly segment on fintech, to be hosted by their technology reporter Arjun Kharpal.

In case you didn't believe US, financial technology is a big friggin' deal, and it cuts a wide swatch across multiple sectors of finance including banking, lending, microfinance, digital currencies, trading markets and more. But don't take our word for it - just watch CNBC and you'll hear the same thing we've been talking about for the last 15 months.
