High Frequency Trading Finteknews Friends, we receive LOTS of press releases and media outreach these days, and you'd be astonished by how diverse it is - from make up (what does that have to do with fintech?) to high tech toilets (seriously?! why?!) to expert financial commentary on politics (NO THANK YOU!!) and more. However, on Friday we received an outreach from a new UK-based forex trading platform - SnipetheTrade - with a really cool infographic depicting the history of high frequency trading, dating back to the 17th century, when the Rothchilds used carrier pigeons to get an edge on market information over their competitors. It's all relative, right? Anyway, there's a little bit of a gap in their timeline (300+ years to be exact, but who's counting?). Still it makes for an informative read. You can also find this on their website, and check out their platform while you're at it, too, if you are involved in any retail forex trading.
