New York, New York (Feb 10, 2018) – The Wall Street Blockchain Alliance (WSBA), the leading non-profit trade association promoting the comprehensive adoption of blockchain technology across global markets, has announced that Ms. Alexandra Levin Kramer, Partner at CKR Law LLP, and founding chair of the firm’s Blockchain Technology & Digital Currency practice, will assume a role in the Alliance as Chief Diversity Officer. In this role, Ms. Kramer will be responsible for driving the organization’s executive level diversity and inclusion strategies across all working groups, as well as act as the WSBA representative to multiple diversity organizations.

Notes Ms. Kramer, “I am committed to ensuring that the nascent and innovative blockchain industry does not inherit the historic biases and discriminatory practices present in many other industries. Therefore, I am honored to be able to work with the WSBA to give women and members of underrepresented groups a voice, a place at the table, and recognition of their revolutionary efforts in this industry to date, which at its core, is also good for business. As such, my first efforts will include creating a diversity speaker’s bureau and planning a blockchain conference with all women speakers in New York. As a blockchain attorney at CKR Law LLP and the co-founder of Womin.io, a blockchain startup dedicated to diversity, I look forward to continued growth and inclusion.”

“The WSBA is very happy to have Alexandra spearheading our efforts to drive greater diversity across the ecosystem of blockchain, as it evolves and permeates multiple industry sectors around the world.” said Ron Quaranta, chairman of the WSBA. “Her efforts will be critical as the Alliance, along with other organizations around the globe, work to tackle the challenges of cultural, racial and gender diversity and inclusion across the technology landscape.”
