Cetera Financial Group is enhancing its My Advice Architect technology platform by adding more flexibility for advisors, the company announced Thursday.

The new Advisor II program allows advisors to offer clients fee transparency, low program fees and unbundled ticket charges, with clients paying $6.95 per transaction for most security types.

With the enhancement of the open architecture platform, advisors can choose to outsource investment management to strategists and managers, leverage asset allocation models from an institutional model provider while selecting the funds themselves, or exercise full control of asset allocation and security selection.

New Advisor II Program Provides Fee Transparency for Clients

Los Angeles, CA –

Cetera Financial Group® (“Cetera”), a leading network of independent firms supporting the delivery of objective retail financial advice, has announced a new program on its My Advice Architect® technology platform. The new Advisor II Program provides advisors with full flexibility and control in the implementation of investment solutions tailored to their clients’ needs and goals. It offers fee transparency, low program fees and unbundled ticket charges, with clients paying just $6.95 per transaction for most security types.

The full suite of My Advice Architect programs is a key component of Cetera’s holistic approach to the delivery of the Advice-Centric Experience®, which envisions a profession driven by high-caliber, planning-based advice for clients.

Matthew Costanzo of Costanzo Financial Group said, “My Advice Architect is completely open architecture and it gives us the flexibility to create the investment solutions that are best for our clients. I am able to talk to clients about reducing their fees, managing investment risk more effectively and improving diversification across money managers. An advisor has a choice to do the management themselves or outsource the investment management completely. Cetera has really listened to advisors in bringing us this platform.”

My Advice Architect provides multiple programs with simplified pricing structures that allow advisors degrees of control over portfolio construction and implementation. Advisors can outsource investment management to best-in-class strategists and managers; leverage asset allocation models from an institutional model provider while selecting the funds themselves; or exercise full control of asset allocation and security selection.

Tim Stinson, head of Wealth Management at Cetera, said, “Cetera continues to be excited about working towards transforming how advisors guide individuals and families towards the achievement of financial well-being at every stage of life. The Advisor II Program in My Advice Architect equips advisors with greater freedom when tailoring a financial plan to client-specific investment preferences and objectives, in line with this advice centric experience. We support the delivery of that experience not only through tools and technology, but also through a combination of resources, consulting services and research.”
