Chicago-based fintech RetireUp has received their first strategic investment from Annexus Ventures for an “undisclosed” eight figure sum.
According to their Crunchbase listing: “RetireUp is a provider of software for retirement income planning. RetireUp provides registered representatives and RIAs with software for retirement income planning. Its web based toolsets focus on the distribution phase of retirement, the ability to model annuity and insurance products, and an engaging interface.”
Their website offers a great little video on the platform that makes it feel easy to use and view for investment advisors counseling clients on retirement portfolio planning. The platform is also patent pending, which we found interesting, and offers a $999 annual “professional” plan or a $99/month “standard” plan.
“RetireUp is the best financial software for modeling complex product solutions in a simple, easy to understand manner for clients,” said Jim Richards, Annexus Ventures Managing Partner. “Through an interactive simulation, the client and advisor can ‘test drive’ a variety of solutions. Together, they can find an approach relative to their specific situations and concerns that is in the client’s best interest. We are excited to support their continued success and innovation for the benefit of our entire industry.”
