12/28/16 Daily Closing Analysis – NASDAQ Fintech Index (KFTX)
Snoozing selloff. Looks like the some of the longs decided to do some selling and found out the buyers were off snoozing. Slow down day with the KFTX dropping 8.91 points (-0.83%) to close at 1060.65. Slow day was expected, a big drop was not. Oh well.
After only one stock had a ‘big’ move yesterday let’s check to see about today. Remember, the issue has to move 2 points or more and/or 3%.
ADS -5.14 (228.57)
FDS -2.34 (162.72)
FICO -2.06 (119.34)
FLT -2.07 (141.86)
LC -.26 (5.21) -4.75% (Of course, can always count on LC)
So, that’s them. Must be something going on in the “F” group. Breadth had very bad day; only 3 issues up, 45 down and 1 unchanged. That’s not pretty.
Two days left in 2016 (trading days anyway) and unless someone wakes up some very bullish buyers its gonna be dull and soft. If you just have to get up, bring your pillows. Have a good night.
