OMAHA, Neb.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Orion Advisor Services, LLC (“Orion”), the premier portfolio management solution provider for registered investment advisors, today announces an all-new version of its Report Builder app, a next-generation custom report generator that will set a new industry standard for excellence and efficiency in client reporting. Report Builder is only one of several enhancements being released across the Orion platform as part of its November 2018 Software Update.
Redesigned from the ground up, Report Builder consolidates all of Orion’s reporting capabilities —identified by 75% of users as having the greatest impact on their firm— into a central location inside Orion Connect, empowering advisors to build and customize high-impact client reports even more efficiently. With new interactive features, such as the ability to add images and multi-level pie charts, as well as drag-and-drop capabilities to easily format tables and other graphic elements, Report Builder now enables advisors to engage clients with dynamic views of their financial landscapes simply and at scale.
In addition, users can see a demo data preview of all reports generated by Report Builder before running them in any of a variety of formats. And, to help advisors save time while meeting the unique preferences of each client, reports and subreports can be versioned and saved for use again at a moments notice.

Beta access to Report Builder began on November 10, with a full release for all Orion advisors coming in early December 2018.
Modern, digital client collaboration
First revealed at Ascent, Orion’s integration with SaleMove’s co-browsing and live observation capabilities will also be included in the November 2018 Software Update at no additional cost. Advisors can now share their screens through Orion’s Client Portal to show clients in real-time how to navigate their accounts and reports, and increase engagement and collaboration.

Coming soon: Schwab’s digital account open workflow
Orion’s partnership with Schwab takes aim at new accounts, previously one of the biggest time sinks for advisors. Also announced at Orion’s Ascent conference in September and again at Schwab IMPACT last month, advisors can launch the Schwab Digital Account Opening tool and push Orion data into custodial new account forms in as little as five minutes. Everything, including signatures, are handled digitally, eliminating hours of manual entry and filing. Orion’s Digital Account Opening integration will be live and available to all joint clients in early 2019. Orion is excited to continue this trend with other key custodial partners in the coming weeks and months.
