We’ve long said that trading exchanges and platforms are THE original fintech, and have been employing advanced financial technology far longer than any of the newer types of fintech, such as the more recent P2P or crowdinvesting platforms. Still, they are also undergoing a constant barrage of downward pricing and competitive threats from all corners of the globe, ranging from new types of investing platforms to other exchanges infringing on their territory. All the more need to stay fresh and current.
Enter a new program from our friends at TradeStation, engineered by their VP of Marketing Jodi Fronczke, an incredibly talented young woman we’ve watched grow up in the business. If you’re in NYC between March 27-29, go check them out at The Oculus at the World Trade Center Transportation Hub. See Jodi’s promo email below.
I wanted to give you the details about the super cool, totally fun event that TradeStation is putting on in 2 weeks in NYC. Now is a great time to take a fresh look at TradeStation if you haven’t in a while since we recently changed our pricing structure, refreshed our brand, launched a whole new platform, etc. Well… it is also a great time to get a fresh look with TradeStation. We are popping up a Miami-cool barbershop in the middle of The Oculus at the World Trade Center Transportation Hub in NYC for 3 days offering all attendees the chance to “Get a Fresh Look” with haircuts, dye jobs, wigs, sunlamps and more. From March 27-29th, TradeStation will be offering free haircuts, spray-in blue dye jobs, blue wings, an epic selfie wall and unique iPad station in celebration of its new platform, new pricing, and fresh look. TradeStation will also be hosting an interactive trading competition for event attendees each day – with exciting prizes at stake including Amazon gift cards.
